Today we will be sadly waving Annie Goldthorp a fond farewell from Volunteer Action and wishing her all the very best for her new venture – as the Vicar at Warmington Church.
Annie joined us in October 2023 and has launched the new Group Befriending scheme across East Northamptonshire and Corby. This service has supported over 800 people and two notable successes are the VA 660 Summer Club in Oundle and the Ability Walks in association with Spring Social Prescribing in Corby.
Both Annie’s calm and conscientious way and her beloved Sonnet the springer spaniel, shall be sorely missed by all at VA and in the community.
Thank you for everything you have done Annie – you have provided immeasurable impact and wellbeing to those you supported over the past 18 months.
