What is the Group Befriending Scheme?
The Group Befriending scheme offers the opportunity to meet with others in warm and friendly environments. There are various weekly events running in the region where you can just turn up and enjoy both friendly conversation and delicious refreshments which are always provided free of charge. Weekly events that are currently running are:
Ability Walk, Corby Boating lake - Tuesday Afternoons
We partner with Spring social prescribing every Tuesday afternoon to walk around Corby Boating lake, lots of stops, benches and chat and a chance to enjoy the company of others, please come and join us on Tuesday afternoons, between 1pm – 3pm. Followed by drinks in the cafe.
CORBY - Thursday Mornings
Please come and join us for a chat with delicious refreshments at our VA Coffee mornings at The Good Bean Café, Priors Hall (NN17 5EB). We meet every Thursday morning, between 10am – 11.30am and we would be delighted if you could join us!

From 2nd May we will be joining forces with Waitrose to provide a Community Café at their Oundle branch. Refreshments will be available every Thursday afternoon between 1pm – 3pm in the Waitrose Café
