Every year, Volunteer Action undertakes fundraising initiatives to fund its work in the local community. These funds raised are vital to ensure the continuation of Volunteer Action within the community.

Fundraising Update 

SPRINGTIME FUNDRAISING QUIZ – winners announced!!

Thank you for all your support with the Springtime Quiz! A special thank you to Sheila Harris the Quiz Master and Colemans of Oundle, The Oundle Bookshop and all the volunteers who have helped to sell the quizzes. 

 WINNERS ARE:

1st Place – £50 – Glyn Hughes of Oundle

2nd Place – £30 –  Philip Mann of Staffordshire

3rd Place – £10 – Sarah Elwell of Oundle

THE 200 CLUB

We also have our wonderful 200 Club. Individuals can purchased a number, from 1-200, which is entered into a monthly draw. The prizes each month are

• First prize = £150
• Second Prize = £75
• Third prize = £50
• Fourth prize = £25

The prizes will be doubled in December. Details of winners are published on the website and on our Facebook page. It is hoped that this will raise £6,000 for our work.

• The annual VA Quiz, published in the run up to Christmas, which is always fiendishly difficult,
• The Oundle Jigsaw, a jigsaw depicting the Gillian Dolby print ‘Oundle 2’, which raised over £9,000
• Oundle Playing Cards,
• Oundle Monopoly, a Business Venture by Oundle School, which raised money for Volunteer Action
• Cycle Rides
